FAQ

Questions, answered.

What does Prompy actually do?

Prompy is an image generator. You pick curated filters and an effort level; every click writes the studio-grade prompt for you and Prompy renders 4 images from it.

Do I need to know how to write prompts?

No. We write it with you. Each filter carries the prompt craft for its look, and Prompy assembles the full studio-grade prompt from your picks.

What do I get with the $1 trial?

3 days, 40 credits and every filter, premium looks included. Unless you cancel, it becomes Starter monthly at $14 a month.

What is a credit?

Credits pay for clicks. One click renders 4 images and costs 8 (Draft), 16 (Standard), 24 (High) credits, depending on effort. Plan credits renew monthly; top-ups last 12 months.

Can I use Prompy from my own code or agent?

Yes. A REST API under /v1 and an MCP server are part of Prompy from day one, and they spend the same credits as the web app.

How do I pay?

By card, in US dollars. You can cancel anytime and keep your credits until the end of the period.
